And I’m the worst offender when it comes to holding out for prince charming. But I think where a lot of girls go wrong is they(we?) don’t get to know a guy because of a bad first impression. There is something to be said for reserving judgment until you have something more than a glance to base it on. However, I don’t believe in kissing frogs. Call me an idiot, but I believe in soul mates. No need to get desperate ;)

Boys/men have a very hard time delivering ‘the look’ you speak of while backing it up with the demeanor you speak of. I think girls grow up dreaming about ‘the one’ perfect specimen with perfect behavior and hold out as long as humanly possible and then start kissing frogs anyway. Or, they like frogs to begin with. Ever heard ‘RESPECT’ by Aretha Franklin. I think that’s what you should call your blog when you are no longer a teen and find out what R-E-S-P-E-C-T meant to her.
