Children are so carefree because they don’t have the responsibility of an adult. Someone is taking care of them. As a teenager I fully understand the feeling of wanting to be free of my parents control…. but also as a teenager who has gotten said control I understand how freeing it is to have some one else shoulder your burdens and solve your problems for you…. It’s oddly peaceful.
