Like I’m not going to settle for a man’s selfish love. Because I, being a daughter of God, deserve to be loved with the love of God through a man. It’s kind of like, now that I’ve accepted God’s love(Which I don’t deserve) I can’t settle for anything less. ya know?

The only thing I questioned while reading this was your comment “I deserve God’s love” ~ if you were simply saying you deserve better than the world offers, I agree with you. However, we actually don’t “deserve” God’s love – but He freely gives it to us anyway. How incredible! What an awesome God we serve!

And it’s a worthwhile wait to say “I’m not going to settle for the cheap thing this world calls love. I’m going to wait for a man who’ll seek to love me like Christ loved the church, and gave Himself up for her.” I promise you won’t regret that decision.
