I especially like

And I’ve loved “In the Garden” since I learned of it–when I discovered that it was Great-Grandma’s favorite song.

But yes, I love hymns too. So many of those that have stood the test of time have done so because they are theologically rich, heart-rendingly honest, and absolute art.
